My Dogs
My dogs are a major part of our lives. They are all so rewarding to own and look after. I devote all of my time to them and their wellbeing. Whether they are enjoying their off lead exercise, participating in agility (which they love), swimming or accompanying me while we ride my horses around a nearby forest they are always by my side as loyal companions.
Lovely Lady Grace of Gillhambrook (Maggie)
Lovely Lady Grace is a beautiful Fox Red Labrador with a very impressive pedigree. She is bred from a long line of field trial champions (FTCH) including Copperbirch, Drakeshead and Craighorn to name just a few. Her parents health
tests were excellent.
Maggie is a proven dam. She has an outstanding temperament, pedigree and attitude to life. Several of puppies from her past two litters have been trained a specialist therapy/assistance dogs. Her gentle nature and innate nurturing character has been inherited by her puppies.
Maggie is a gentle soul with keen intelligence and loyalty. She never leaves my side, and I can honestly say that I have 100% confidence in her recall and her focus on me. I consider Maggie to be a proven dam, having had two litters both delivered naturally with 9 healthy puppies in each litter (all reserved before birth).

Gillhambrook Pink Pearl (Tulip)
I decided to keep Tulip from the last litter. She is a super puppy who is very much like her mother. She is bold and completely fun loving. She is a robustly build example of the breed. Having been born here at home it is so wonderful to see her develop and watch her learn from her mother and auntie.
Tulip is an elegant bitch with eccentric attitude. She enjoys her walks and trips out. Her role with me here in the home of Gillhambrook Labradors is to assist me in the early education of the litters of puppies. Her role is to help me (and their mum) raise them, teach them respect for other around them and know their place within the pack dynamic. I completely trust Tulip with all of the puppies and my other animals. She loves children and enjoys meeting my clients and my visitors.

BlazingIron (Jyn)
Balzingiron Jyn has an outstanding pedigree with Drakeshead, Copperbirch and Stormwatch breeding to name just a few with many Field trial champions spanning the five generation pedigree.
Her parents health tests and estimated
breeding values are outstanding.
She was bred in the West Country by an successful field trial competitor and trainer. I really liked the fact that she was a homebred puppy. Although his dogs are worked they are also family members and Jyn and her litter mates were born in the home and well socialised in the home which isa very important consideration for me.

Sandhaven Hot in The City (inky)
Inky has an impressive pedigree from show lines on both Dam and Sire sides. She is beautifully bred with impeccable temperament.

Gillhambrook Mercury Rising (Freddy)
Freddy is homebread. His is of fabulous breeding, having the famous Drakeshead in his pedigree. At only 15 weeks of age this boys recalss first time, sits, watis and walks to heel.
I have decided to continue with his education, whilst his new family come along. I had many enquiries for him but applicants were suitbale.
If you are looking for a slightly older puppy who has commenced training, all the socialisation foundations and are happy to undergo my usual vetting procedure enquire through the contact page.

Blazing Iron Typhoon (Bunny)
Blazing Iron Typhoon (Bunny) this outdtanding little girl is full sister to my Blazing Iron Jyn. She is from the Beggardbush and Tanyrhallt lines. FTch are throughout her pedigree. She is a quick learner with a superb temperament, and I'am delighted to have been lucky enough to come by her.

Boubouzellar of Gillhambrook (Bee Bee)
Bee is a working (field Labrador) she has a working pedigree line. Her conformation, temperament and characteristics are typical of a working Labrador. I brought Bee as a puppy from a lady I knew from the village where I lived. The litter produced were from both of her Labradors, and like me she had grown up with the breed from a farming and countryside background. Both Bee’s parents were of superb character, and the litter were born in the home, with children and other animals.
Bee retired in 2024. She has been a wonderful mum to four previous litters and all are thriving in their lovely family homes. Bee is enjoying her retirement with me, and loves her walks and overseeing the litters, meeting and greeting clients and visitors and generally being ‘top dog’.
Unlike many breeders I do not re home my bitches when they retire from breeding. My dogs are my family and will stay with me here at home.

As you can see Bee is a very fine example of the working Labrador, fit healthy and purposeful. She enjoys agility and continues this throughout her pregnancies. Her maternal instincts are fantastic. She is a natural mum, with a nurturing attitude. Bee is our current breeding bitch and is KC Registered.
